Because color of my skin doesn’t define who I am

Because individuality is the ultimate race

Because some things are much more than words

Because deep within we are all the same

Feel my presence in the fragrance of your surroundings

Hear my laughter in the whispers of the wind

See my shadow alongside yours

I live with you in the fragments of your memories
I am not gone, I am just around you

BEING IMPERFECT

Under the fantasy of what could have happened

People forget to see what is happening

While longing to change the past

We let the present be wasted

Desiring for what we don’t have

We never learn the values of what we have

And while we waste our lives comparing ourselves with others

We forget to see the uniqueness that we have in us

And it’s sad, because the day you realize your true worth

It would have been too late…so always know that,

Being imperfect is the perfect way of being human

I have met with so many people

Oh! I’ve even fallen in love

Different emotions with everyone

Some driving me crazy, some making me smile

I have funny dreams and desires

I cry like a baby over a stupid movie

And I can make you laugh all the time

But all that’s hidden from the outside world

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

St. Valentine’s Day is the most romantic day of the year

 And it’s a day where we express all of our love to everyone

But don’t think Valentine’s Day is only for couples

It’s simply a day of love…any form of love in my opinion

So happy Valentine’s Day to all of you who touched my past

Fragments of your memories still lingers in my mind

And honestly, I have had some fine moments with you all

Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you in my life

Perhaps I don’t say it often, but if you are in my life

Then I love you more than I usually express
